Some friends like flowers will so<strong>on</strong> fade away.<br />
Some will say, "Not today. How about another day?"<br />
Others their angry words will not hold at bay.<br />
While still others in demise and cruelty lay,<br />
<strong>for</strong> some timid soul to slay.<br />
Other friends are here to stay.<br />
To help us al<strong>on</strong>g the way,<br />
And to hold us up in prayer from day to day.<br />
But there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother,<br />
Who will not leave you <strong>for</strong> another.<br />
Who will always say, "You're not a bother."<br />
