FERAL HOUSE 2012 Printed Books, eBooks & Print-On-Demand Like an overweight Kiwi bird, the digital age has landed awkwardly on the publishing world, and after initial resistance we’ve decided to convert most Feral House titles into electronic books readable by Kindle, Nook, iPad, and other eBook devices. You can find and order them on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and elsewhere, including Apple’s iBookstore.* There are good reasons to welcome eBooks. One is that eBooks can reduce the paper waste of throwaway novels. Another is the publisher’s ability to update books without the lengthy process of printing and shipping a new edition. Readers should keep in mind that many Feral House titles were designed for large-size printed books, and contain many hi-res images. Visually-oriented titles make for troublesome conversions, and are frequently deficient in retaining the purpose, beauty and wonder of the original printed edition. Nonetheless, we support the option of purchasing these books in any format you please. This year we’ll be providing rare and out-ofstock titles both as eBooks and in printed versions created in print-on-demand (POD) options for our new Resurrection Series. The first Resurrection book is The Manson File, the controversial Amok Press title, provided at Amazon.com for the same price as when initially published in 1988.
