The construction system of wooden
massive Riko houses differs from all
present systems and represents and

The construction technology of Riko
houses complies with strict ecologic
requirements. The overall structure of the
Riko house is made of massive, bonded,
and technically dry pine wood. The
basic element is a massive, bonded wall,
followed by insulation from wooden fibres
being fixed on this wall, while a façade
- either classic or wooden - is attached
to the insulation. The interior of the Riko
house may be enriched with natural
coatings such as coloured plant oils, waxes
and resins.
The construction of the Riko houses
is ecologically clean, as it burdens the
environment less intensively and for a
shorter period of time. The construction is
transferred from the site to the Production
Hall where prefabricated elements are
manufactured; consequently, there is no
unnecessary material deposit and noise on
the site.
The prefabricated elements make
possible, both a fast-track construction
and moving. By contrast with a classic
construction, the construction system of
the Riko houses requires no drying stage.
Miscellaneous finishing works may be
performed parallel with the construction
which may also be executed in winter
time.
