IMPORTANT NOTES TO THIS REPORT
1/ Some phones are operator specific only, and may not be available for use on all HD Voice mobile networks or in all
markets. Activation of the W-AMR codec may be required. Some phones will require the latest software to be installed.
The information contained in this report is therefore indicative only.
Always check directly with the suppliers directly for device specifications and commercial availability for your specific
market and business requirements.
2/ The majority of phones are suitable for delivery of W-AMR enabled HD voice service on 3G/HSPA networks. A small
number are also compatible for HD voice service on GSM networks where supported by the network.
3/ Several VoLTE phones are included that incorporate the W-AMR codec for use when HD voice service is offered to
LTE subscribers, as is the case by the three South Korean operators. The letters after the model name have the
following meaning: K = KT; L = LG U Plus; S = SK Telecom. Other letters denote specifications for other operators,
However, at this stage neither VoLTE nor HD voice service may be commercially available on their networks.
4/ Fur further analysis of the phones listed in this report, authorised users should refer to the new GAMBoD-HDV
database which can be accessed at http://www.gsacom.com/gambod
5/ For more detailed information about the VoLTE devices listed in this report, please refer to the GAMBoD-LTE
database (authorised users only).
