Brimrose’s spectrometers are based on Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter (AOTF) technology and operate in
the Near-InfraRed (NIR) wavelength range. The company has been a leader in miniaturizing and
digitizing spectrometers.
Brimrose offers a variety of customizable features with its family of spectrometers, and in some instances
has designed a new product line based on new customer requirements. One spectrometer, recently built
for a customer to perform carpet analysis, is an example of this. Customizable features include free space
optics, handheld units, built-in multiplexers, benchtop units, seedmeisters, tablet analyzers, etc.
