6 Flexible Ducting Semi-Flexible Metallic Tube Types PAK, AL, SS Hasflex Flexible Metallic Tube Manufactured from a corrugated strip spirally wound to produce a tube with a triple † overlapped and crimped joint to ensure pressure tightness to 10”W.G. The advantages of using HASflex Flexible Metallic Tube are:- * Available in two materials, Aluminium and Stainless Steel. * Available in Eurovent sizes 80mm to 500mm. * The product is relatively self-supporting without sagging whilst maintaining great cross sectional strength. * Complies with BS476 Parts 6, 7 & 8 for Fire Resistance. * Can be supplied pre-insulated using flexible mineral wool covered with vapour barrier. † HASflex PAK utilises a double overlapped joint and extra deep corrugations to increase flexibility. Hasflex PAK Manufactured from 99% pure Aluminium, HASflex PAK offers extra flexibility. Supplied in 4 metre lengths compressed to 1 metre and individually boxed for ease of storage and transportation. HASflex PAK is ideal for short final connections. Hasflex AL Manufactured from 100% Aluminium, HASflex AL can be easily formed into bends and offsets in very short distances and within confined spaces. Suitable for internal and external applications. Hasflex SS Manufactured from high grade Stainless Steel, HASflex SS is recommended for use where a very high resistance to fire and/or corrosion is required.
