The Region of Tuscany
A geographically
charming mix of
picturesque countryside,
rolling hills, vineyards and great natural
beauty, the region of Tuscany stretches
gently down the Apennines to the Tyrrhenian
Sea.With Florence and all its renaissance
grandeur as its capital, to Pisa, Siena, Lucca,
Arezzo, and the towers of San Gimignano,
Tuscany is unrivalled as a cradle of art, food,
wine and history.
VENICE
The Region of Veneto
This region comprises the majestic
Dolomites. A feast for the eyes,Venice
is all magnificent churches, lavish
palazzi and stately bridges, set upon a
labyrinth of waterways and streets
which are works of art in themselves.
Surely three of the great moments in travel are the view from the
Rialto Bridge to the gondolas plying the Grand Canal, a glass of good
wine in St. Mark’s Square on a glorious sunny day, and a visit to the
great gothic 9th century Doge’s Palace. Shopping is stupendous!

The Region of Luguria
One of Italy’s smaller regions, Liguria is home to the medieval and
palacial wonders of the bustling seaport of Genoa; the celebrity haunt
of exquisite Portofino; the artistic heritage of San Remo. Many visitors
come for the necklace of seaside resort towns born in the late 19th
and early 20th century which are long favoured by Italian tourists, and
the region’s latest wonder: the 5 secluded villages of Cinque Terre

The Region of Umbria
Rich in scenery, art, music, culture and
cuisine, Umbria is dotted with castles,
fortresses, monasteries and well preserved
hilltowns. Perhaps it’s most famous town
Spoleto presents a nationally renowned
performing arts festival each summer.
Assisi, the home of St. Francis, is also in
Umbria and examples of Romanesque
style embodied in the Cathedral of Assisi.

These regions are Italy at its postcard best. The entire Amalfi Coast
