Surely three of the great moments in travel are the view from the<br />
Rialto Bridge to the gondolas plying the Grand Canal, a glass of good<br />
wine in St. Mark’s Square on a glorious sunny day, and a visit to the<br />

The Region of Luguria<br />
One of Italy’s smaller regions, Liguria is home to the medieval and<br />
palacial wonders of the bustling seaport of Genoa; the celebrity haunt<br />
of exquisite Portofino; the artistic heritage of San Remo. Many visitors<br />
come for the necklace of seaside resort towns born in the late 19th<br />
and early 20th century which are long favoured by Italian tourists, and<br />
