How do you save on Probate Solicitor’s fees?<br />

we do not charge a percentage fee like most other<br />
solicitors, accountants and banks.<br />
Typically, solicitors charge a percentage fee based on the value of the estate as well as<br />
an hourly charge. The percentage fee can be up to 0.75% of the value of the property<br />
and up to 1.5% of the value of the other assets. So, where for example an estate<br />
consists of a house worth £350,000 and savings of £150,000, the percentage fee will<br />
be £4,875 plus VAT on top of the solicitor’s normal hourly charges.<br />
