good Practice Awards
Sixteen examples of good practice in the prevention of MSDs are set to be recognised at an award
ceremony in Bilbao on 27 November, 2000.
Launched earlier in the year, the aim behind the European Agency’s competition has been to
support the dissemination of good practice information about MSDs and to increase the exchange
of information about effective ways of prevention and ‘practical solutions’ in Member States and
at European level.
The winners come from 13 EU Member States and include small and medium-sized enterprises,
large companies, a trades union and a specialist safety and health institute, operating in very
different sectors.
