Living<br />

and <strong>Minister</strong>ing<br />

by Faith<br />

All believers are competent <strong>to</strong> minister <strong>to</strong> one<br />

another in the Body of Christ by grace through faith in<br />

God and in His Word. They are saved by grace through<br />

faith, they are sanctified by grace through faith, and<br />

they are <strong>to</strong> live and minister <strong>to</strong> one another by grace<br />

through faith. After they believe God for salvation<br />

through the death and Resurrection of Christ, they are<br />

<strong>to</strong> continue their walk in the Spirit through the life of<br />

the resurrected Christ living in them. As they live by<br />

faith they are competent <strong>to</strong> minister God’s grace <strong>to</strong> one<br />

another, believing that God is sovereign and true <strong>to</strong> His<br />

Word—that He has given them “all things that pertain<br />

un<strong>to</strong> life and godliness” (2 Peter 1:3). If, however, their<br />

faith is undermined or misplaced, their confidence in<br />

God and their competence <strong>to</strong> minister diminish. There-<br />
