MANUAL PLEAT WRAPPER
Pleat wrapping has been considerably growing in
importance and popularity.
It offers good protection from outside elements and
enhances the final look of tablet giving it an image
of professional and serious production.
Pleat wrapper is a manual wrapping device suitable
for rounded and oval soap shapes.
With pleat wrapper it is possible to wrap soaps with
maximum diameter of 75 mm and maximum thickness
of 35 mm.
Being a manually operated machine, its performance
is related to the capability of the operator.
It is possible to wrap an average of 10 soaps per
minute.
The main components of the machine
are:
Upper folder
Lower folder
Diaphragm closing
Pusher and Ejector
The upper and lower folders are
manufactured on purpose around the
soap shape to be wrapped.
The paper sheet with rounded shape
is inserted between the upper folder
and the lower folder.
To obtain a good wrap it is necessary to select a
good paper or transparent film.
The paper must neither tear nor deform and must
keep its original surface after the wrapping.
The reduced dimensions of the machine allow an
easy positioning on every working plane.
The soap to be wrapped is placed
inside the hole of the upper folder
and pushed by means of the pusher
through the two folders.
The soap pushed by the pusher forces
the passage of the paper through the
folders thus forming wrinkles on the
paper.
When the soap reaches the lower
position, the diaphragm closes itself
and the soap is wrapped.
The diaphragm is opened as needed
in order to allow the positioning of the
closing adhesive with Customer’s
logo.
After opening completely the diaphragm,
the ejector allows to easily
pick up your wrapped soap.
