Elaine Pearson, like so many of us, takes on multiple
full-time roles. Family, career and activities compete for
her attention and have often kept her from focusing on
her own fitness.
We all think we can do it on our own. Elaine Pearson, a nurse who had always
been an athletic person, would seem to have had all of the tools to be fit and
healthy. But as we all know, sometimes life’s demands and stresses require us
to step outside of our comfort zone to refocus on ourselves. Lose Dat has been
a life-changing program for Elaine and others like her because it challenged her,
forced her to focus on her health and, at the same time, gave her the opportunity to
do the program with her husband and even include her kids at times.
If you see Elaine around the gym, congratulate her, ask her about her experience, or
just take inspiration from this busy wife, mother of three and nurse, who now wears
one more hat - Lose Dat winner! As Elaine points out “We should never take our health
for granted.”
