Welcome to the MACCAs 2013!
Thank you for the opportunity to present this sponsorship proposal for the 2013
MACCAs Regional Media Awards, conducted by the Media Club Gold Coast. The
Awards will be held on 19 October 2013.
The Media Club is a not-for-profit organisation. Since 1992, our Club has demonstrated a
strong commitment to raising funds for local charities, including the Gold Coast Community
Foundation, Bravehearts, Careflight Group Queensland, Aussie Kids and many other worthy
organisations.
The beneficiary of the Awards and our Media Club events in 2013 is the Police Citizens
Youth Club (PCYC), an outstanding community organisation that provides activities, sports,
gyms, music, dance, arts and crafts, as well as life-changing youth development and crime
prevention programs for over 50,000 young Queenslanders each year.
The MACCAs Media Awards reward and celebrate those responsible for shaping this
region’s identity, enhancing our sense of community and contributing to the success of
tourism and business.
