Family
My family has been extremely supportive of my plans to adopt
all through this process. I dream of the day I can tell them that I
have been entrusted by someone special to become a mother. I
am often asked for updates on my adoption journey. I can’t wait
to see the smiles on their faces when I can share news that I will
be bringing home a new little one to join our big loving family!
My three brothers; David, Robert and Pierre all live nearby. They
are all single with no children. My oldest brother Frank, lives in
New Jersey with his wife and four children; Nicholas,
Christopher, Angela, and Chase. Through the years he has
become a best friend to me. I treasure the close relationships
that I have with my niece and nephews. They are all excited
about welcoming a new baby cousin into our family.
My father is a retired Episcopalian priest. He devoted his career
to the church. He also has strong family values and imparted
through his vocation and example, a sense of the importance of
giving back to the community. Unfortunately, my parents
divorced when I was twelve years old. While my father remained
in our lives, my mother raised us alone. Her devotion and
determination in raising me and my brothers has been an
inspiration. She was a great role model for me.
