a brilliant team of local<br />
musicians has spent<br />
endless hours to prepare<br />
the most glamorous and<br />
entertaining event of<br />
the year - the 12th annual<br />
<strong>Brevard</strong> <strong>Live</strong> Music<br />
Awards. Master of Ceremony<br />
John Leach and his<br />
captivating co-hostess<br />
Lisa Rocher Wagner will<br />
return to the stage leading<br />
the audience through<br />
a high energy show that<br />
reveals <strong>Brevard</strong>’s Favorite<br />
Bands and Musicians<br />
as nominated by readers<br />
of <strong>Brevard</strong> <strong>Live</strong> Magazine<br />
and music fans followed<br />
by a month-long online<br />
voting. The presenters<br />
are staples in our music<br />
community, and the live<br />
musical performers represent<br />
our finest talent.<br />
Let’s talk about the<br />
BMA-team (top photo):<br />
John Leach is hosting our<br />
award show for the third<br />
time. He’s been a <strong>Brevard</strong><br />
<strong>Live</strong> associate since the 90s<br />
writing CD reviews, conducting<br />
celebrity interviews,<br />
and whatever else needs to<br />
be done. John is a musician,<br />
voice-over artist (he’s even<br />
recorded for the US Army),<br />
works as a MC/DJ with his<br />
mobile event company and<br />
much more. John Leach is<br />
a true entertainer. He’s also<br />
very funny.<br />
Lisa Rocher Wagner<br />
was initially hired as a cute<br />
assistant but it didn’t take<br />
long to find out that no-one<br />
can hold a good woman<br />
down or stop a wild fire. Lisa<br />
has gathered many fans over<br />
the past years with her band<br />
Rock Candy. Her southern<br />
beauty Texan charm added a<br />
lot of spice to the show, and<br />
we are happy to have her<br />
back.<br />
Joe Calautti has been<br />
our musical director for the<br />
longest time. Together with<br />
Tom Willett on bass, Sam<br />
Hill on drums, and Leslie<br />
Mitchell on keyboard,<br />
Joe fronts the BMAs house<br />
band. He is the busiest and<br />
most professional musician<br />
in this county. Our music<br />
is in good hands. Joe and<br />
John will take the stage to-<br />
