Third Level Colleges<br />
Of the local Third Level institutions, the most extensive is Bishop Barham University who<br />
have research papers, theses and dissertations (A List <strong>of</strong> Dissertations or Research Papers has<br />
an incomplete index by title but not by author) relating to <strong>Kigezi</strong> since its elevation to<br />
university; research papers go back to 1994. It also has a number <strong>of</strong> booklets commemorating<br />
diamond (i.e. 1984 and 1994) and other anniversaries <strong>of</strong> various church institutions as well as<br />
pamphlets. They have a small locally relevant evangelical section.<br />
Archives held by other Colleges in Kabale and Kisoro are still to be calendared.<br />
Photography Archives<br />
The website <strong>of</strong> the History in Progress Uganda has an excellent and growing collection from<br />
all over Uganda and includes photos taken by Mary Edel.<br />
Bishop Barham University has a fascinating album <strong>of</strong> photos taken from the albums <strong>of</strong> Dr.<br />
Len Sharp, entitled Ruanda General and Medical Mission - <strong>Kigezi</strong> and Ruanda 1921-1934. It<br />
was compiled and presented by Joyce Gower (nee Sharp) and Ge<strong>of</strong>frey Stanley Smith on<br />
behalf <strong>of</strong> their families.<br />
