Kim: I thrive on the opportunity, fitness provides to consistently push myself to another level, by reaching deep inside myself and recreating and repackaging myself, and coming back stronger and better each time. Obi: What is the message that you are trying to give to people through this incredible comeback you’ve made? Kim: Do what scares you, even if you have to do it afraid. None of us are comfortable doing something new. I believe there are 2 types of pain: the pain of change, and the pain of staying the same. Whatever your vision or dream is, draw a straight line between you and it, and never quit on yourself. Obi: What do you enjoy most about competing? Kim: The process of putting together a new package to bring to the stage and envisioning it over and over as I train. I cherish the comradery with the women. The women that I compete with are my friends, and I have the utmost respect for them. It’s wonderful to share the experience with someone that knows everything you went through to be there. Obi: How proud are you competing in the WBFF organization? Kim: The WBFF has revolutionized the fitness industry. That have taken the fitness stage, and made it into a runway for “the best of the best!” Their production Image : Picturegroove is unmatched, from the lighting to the venue, no detail is spared. Their athletes are promoted in mainstream markets, and they will forever change the face of this industry. I am not only proud but honoured.
