We thank Regina Aguirre de Riojas for letting us know
that we could find flor de manitas in the garden of
Rodrigo Ibarguen.
We appreciate his hospitality for allowing us access to
the trees and flowers so we could take the
photographs here. We had been searching for a flor
de manitas tree for almost two years and it sure was
helpful that the tree was not 200 km away and
halfway up a volcano.
