PLANICA AND CHILDREN<br />
The artistic competition <strong>Planica</strong> and Children has become an indispensable<br />
part of the <strong>Planica</strong> story. The competition began in 2005<br />
when two classes of a primary school in Ljubljana were invited to<br />
visit the valley at the foot of Ponce mountains.<br />
Since then every year more children from all over Slovenia take<br />
part in the competition.<br />
We have till now received innumerable excellent posters which<br />
show how children love ski jumping and how well they know <strong>Planica</strong>.<br />
Of course, we have prepared the competition this year as well.<br />
Together with the Ministry of Education<br />
and Sports and the Institute<br />
of Fair-play and Tolerance in Sport<br />
we make a well-trained team that<br />
enables our youngest to enjoy unforgetable<br />
days in <strong>Planica</strong>.<br />
The children who visit this most<br />
northwestern part of Slovenia get<br />
a chance to see the best representatives<br />
of the fascinating sport called<br />
ski flying. We are very glad that<br />
every year we have the oportunity<br />
to see primary school students<br />
enjoy this winter spectacle, and<br />
while offering fun we also keep in<br />
mind that it is our task to present<br />
to them the healthy way of living<br />
that goes along with sports.<br />
