We were pro-active in our new company identity and started to import our own products under our own label and joined a buying group giving us the same buying power as McKesson, Ownes & Minor, Baxter and General Medical.Advanced Surgical has open accounts with close to 300 key manufacturers which include, Welch Allyn, Tycos, Midmark, Pelton Crane, Conmed, Burton, Abbott Labs, Invacare, Miltex, Imex, Zimmer, Tidi, Sherwood, Smith & Nephew companies and many more. Advanced Surgical now provides buyers with a “Single Source” for all medical equipment, surgical instruments (our own brand) and some disposable supplies mostly related to the equipment we sell. This “Single Source” service covers fully remanufactured equipment that has a biomedical certification and all varieties of new equipment. We will do all the research work on pricing and sourcing for our customers. We also interact with different personel in hospitals and surgery centers to help the materials manager with colating different needs and desires from various departments and staff. This saves our customers a great deal of time and expense and this function is performed quickly and at a low cost. The County of Los Angeles procurement division found after an intense study that there is a 15% savings when purchasing from a single supplier instead of multiple suppliers.Some of our key customers are, Kaiser, Veterans Administration, Department of Defense, UCLA, U.C.
