The <strong>Aurora</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Commerce</strong> is a nonpr<strong>of</strong>it<br />
organization that supports and promotes<br />
business in the <strong>Aurora</strong> community. From large<br />
corporations, to small and medium-sized businesses and<br />
emerging entrepreneurs, members use the <strong>Chamber</strong> as an<br />
important source <strong>of</strong> information to support their needs<br />
and to maintain business success.<br />
The <strong>Chamber</strong> facilitates innovative and pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
business practices, advocates on behalf <strong>of</strong> the membership,<br />
creates opportunities for peer interaction, increases the<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>ile <strong>of</strong> members, and provides services to enable<br />
them to succeed personally and pr<strong>of</strong>essionally in an everchanging<br />
business climate. The <strong>Chamber</strong> works closely<br />
with the Town <strong>of</strong> <strong>Aurora</strong> to help shape the economy,<br />
promote community sustainability and help prepare for<br />
the future.<br />
Through ongoing education, volunteer committees and<br />
events, the <strong>Chamber</strong> is a resource to help over 700 member<br />
companies grow and prosper and to gain exposure in the<br />
community. It hosts the <strong>Aurora</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> Home Show,<br />
organizes the <strong>Aurora</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> Street Festival, one <strong>of</strong><br />
York Region’s largest annual events, celebrates business<br />
excellence and recognizes the gems <strong>of</strong> <strong>Aurora</strong> business at<br />
the <strong>Business</strong> Achievement Awards.<br />
