Dr. Wu received hisfirst MS (Engineering) in MaterialDr. Xiaochu Wu Science from the Chinese Academy<strong>of</strong> Sciences in Shanghai in 1990 andhis second MS in Physics from York University in Toronto,Canada in 2002. He received a BS in Computer Science fromthe University <strong>of</strong> Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Canada in 2004.In 2007, Dr. Wu received his PhD in Biomedical Engineeringfrom the University <strong>of</strong> Saskatchewan, where he also worked asthe manager <strong>of</strong> the university’s Microscopy Center. Dr. Wu’sresearch interest is how endogenously generated H_2 S by manycells and tissues in mammalian bodies may play physiologicalroles, such as neuromodulator and vasorelaxant in the biologicalsystem.
