Super Fives (Optional for age 8 yearsfrom August to November only)RecommendedThe field of play should be 35 metres by 20metres.Goalposts should be no more than be 4.9metres x 1.8 metres (16ft by 6ft).There should be a centre mark at themidpoint of the halfway line.2. The BallA size 3 ball should be used.3. The Number of PlayersTeams will comprise 4 outfield players plusa goalkeeper. Team squads may consist ofup to 7 players with rolling substitutionsused throughout the match. Players whohave been substituted may return to thefield of play as often as necessary. All teammembers should receive equal playingtime where possible.4. The Players’ EquipmentAll players must wear shin-guards.Metal studs are suitable for grass fieldsonly.Players must wear the appropriate clothingdependent on weather.Glasses may be worn provided they havesafety frames and lenses.5. The RefereeA match supervisor, who must be a clubofficial, will officiate from the side of thefield and will not be allowed to coach eitherteam.7. The Duration of the MatchMatches should be organised on a roundrobin festival basis and be trophy free. Eachmatch should last no more than 15 minutes.The team leaders have joint discretionto alter this in the event of poor weatherconditions, pitch conditions or an obviousmismatch. There should be a minimum of 5minutes between matches with a maximumof 3 matches within a 1 hour period.8. The Start and Restart of PlayOn scoring a goal the team that scoreswill retreat to the halfway line. The teamconceding the goal will restart the gamewith a short forward pass.9.
