EBERHART-PETRO MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSEWhat’s Going On AtEberhart?Eberhart-Petro Municipal Golf Course has manyactivities going on throughout the season for all agesand abilities to enjoy our beautiful setting along theSt. Joseph River. First and foremost is the tremendouspricing structure that is <strong>of</strong>fered for annual golf passeswhich is by far the best value in the area whencombining cost and quality. Eberhart gives customers an affordable and enjoyable place toenjoy a round <strong>of</strong> golf, work on their short game, or hang out on the deck alongside the riverand enjoy a delicious cheeseburger and a cold beverage.Eberhart provides a great choice for outings <strong>of</strong> all sizes and welcomes the opportunity todiscuss particulars with anyone wishing to hold an outing at the course, whether it’s a companyget together, fundraiser, or family reunion. Call Director <strong>of</strong> Golf Rick Frye at 255-5508 to reservea date and time.Lessons are <strong>of</strong>fered throughout the golf season, and Junior Golf Schools are held twice inthe summer. The first session will be <strong>of</strong>fered June 10-13, while the second session will be July15-18. We also host an annual event that <strong>of</strong>fers free golf for the day for all juniors, theGarbage Open which will be held on July 10 th . Eberhart is also one <strong>of</strong> the stops for the St.Joseph County Junior Tour, which is a good program for any child who wants to participate in astructured and competitive environment, or learn to do so.Frye, a 25-year Class A Member <strong>of</strong> the Pr<strong>of</strong>essional Golfers Association <strong>of</strong> America, hasworked with thousands <strong>of</strong> people in his 30 plus years as a Golf Pr<strong>of</strong>essional helping them tolearn or improve. This 36-hole event, with 18 played both Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting) is open to golfers fromaround the area to compete at stroke play. In addition to the Championship Flight, there arealso several other flights for competition.
