The construction schedule <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> project is anticipated <strong>to</strong> commence in May 2010 and last throughNovember 2010. Construction activities at Canyon Crest Academy will commence in May and will occurin two overlapping phases. The first phase will result in construction <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> northwestern parking lot andis expected <strong>to</strong> last <strong>for</strong> approximately 114 days. In August, construction will flow in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> second phase <strong>of</strong><strong>the</strong> project consisting <strong>of</strong> construction at <strong>the</strong> southwestern parking lot. Construction in <strong>the</strong> southwesternparking lot is anticipated <strong>to</strong> last approximately 62 days. All construction activities at Canyon CrestAcademy are expected <strong>to</strong> be completed by Oc<strong>to</strong>ber. At La Costa Canyon High School, construction willcommence in late June and is expected <strong>to</strong> last approximately 154 days, concluding in November.La Costa Canyon High School. At <strong>the</strong> La Costa Canyon High School site, 25 carports would beconstructed within <strong>the</strong> northwestern parking lot. The carports would be 10 feet tall. The PV <strong>panel</strong>s wouldbe installed with a single cantilever. The project would include one inverter at this site that would connect<strong>to</strong> a pull box and <strong>the</strong> main switchboard <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> San Diego Gas and Electric meter. Installation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>proposed carports at this site would entail <strong>the</strong> removal <strong>of</strong> 12 light poles and 75 ornamental trees that arecurrently located throughout this parking lot. New light fixtures would be installed under <strong>the</strong> carports <strong>to</strong>ensure security lighting is provided throughout <strong>the</strong> project area. The number <strong>of</strong> parking spaces providedon site would not change.Canyon Crest Academy. At <strong>the</strong> Canyon Crest Academy site, four carports would be constructed within<strong>the</strong> northwestern parking lot and six carports would be constructed in <strong>the</strong> southwestern parking lot. Thecarports would be 10 feet tall. The PV <strong>panel</strong>s would be installed with a double cantilever. The projectwould include one inverter near both <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> parking lots and two San Diego Gas and Electric meters.Installation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> proposed carports at this facility would entail <strong>the</strong> removal <strong>of</strong> 18 light poles and 18ornamental trees currently located within <strong>the</strong> northwestern parking lot, and 14 light poles and 26ornamental trees that are currently located within <strong>the</strong> southwestern parking lot. New light fixtures wouldbe installed under <strong>the</strong> proposed carports <strong>to</strong> ensure security lighting is provided throughout <strong>the</strong> projectarea. The number <strong>of</strong> parking spaces provided on site would not change.
