The construction schedule for the project is anticipated to commence in May 2010 and last throughNovember 2010. Construction activities at Canyon Crest Academy will commence in May and will occurin two overlapping phases. The first phase will result in construction of the northwestern parking lot andis expected to last for approximately 114 days. In August, construction will flow into the second phase ofthe project consisting of construction at the southwestern parking lot. Construction in the southwesternparking lot is anticipated to last approximately 62 days. All construction activities at Canyon CrestAcademy are expected to be completed by October. At La Costa Canyon High School, construction willcommence in late June and is expected to last approximately 154 days, concluding in November.La Costa Canyon High School. At the La Costa Canyon High School site, 25 carports would beconstructed within the northwestern parking lot. The carports would be 10 feet tall. The PV panels wouldbe installed with a single cantilever. The project would include one inverter at this site that would connectto a pull box and the main switchboard for the San Diego Gas and Electric meter. Installation of theproposed carports at this site would entail the removal of 12 light poles and 75 ornamental trees that arecurrently located throughout this parking lot. New light fixtures would be installed under the carports toensure security lighting is provided throughout the project area. The number of parking spaces providedon site would not change.Canyon Crest Academy. At the Canyon Crest Academy site, four carports would be constructed withinthe northwestern parking lot and six carports would be constructed in the southwestern parking lot. Thecarports would be 10 feet tall. The PV panels would be installed with a double cantilever. The projectwould include one inverter near both of the parking lots and two San Diego Gas and Electric meters.Installation of the proposed carports at this facility would entail the removal of 18 light poles and 18ornamental trees currently located within the northwestern parking lot, and 14 light poles and 26ornamental trees that are currently located within the southwestern parking lot. New light fixtures wouldbe installed under the proposed carports to ensure security lighting is provided throughout the projectarea. The number of parking spaces provided on site would not change.
