As well as his paintings, Ballagh has produced manyposters, book covers, limited edition prints, the backdrop for the original Riverdance and thelast Irish banknotes issued before Ireland’s transition to the euro. Ballagh has generouslygiven his artistic commitment to arange of causes, both politically andsocially, in the pursuit of anegalitarian society. In this spirit, andas a statement of his solidarity, hehas donated this substantialcollection of his work, with allmonies raised being donated to thePat Finucane Centre.
