Low Cost Pet Vaccinations Clinic<br />

Presented by All About Animals Rescue<br />

<strong>The</strong> <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oak</strong> <strong>Park</strong> will be hosting a lowcost<br />

vaccination clinic against Distemper,<br />

DHLPP (dogs), Rabies, Bordetella (Kennel<br />

Cough), and Feline Leukemia. This Clinic is<br />

presented by All About Animals Rescue a<br />

non-pr<strong>of</strong>it volunteer organization.<br />

Local animal related business’s will be on-site to<br />

answer questions, host seminars and provide<br />

products/services information.<br />

Location: <strong>Oak</strong> <strong>Park</strong> Comm. Center – Act. Rm C<br />

Date/Time: Saturday, October 8th from 10 to 2 P.M.<br />

Cost: $10 per shot. (cash only to All About Animals)<br />

Add. Info.: Please bring previous vaccine for your pet.<br />

Gobble Gobble Gallop 5K Run<br />

Lace up your running shoes and join in<br />

on a great morning <strong>of</strong> running with<br />

friends, residents, non-residents and all<br />

running enthusiast. <strong>The</strong> run will take<br />

you through the beautiful landscape <strong>of</strong><br />

Shepherd <strong>Park</strong> three times and finish<br />

right at the community center where<br />

refreshments, awards an drinks will be<br />

Breakfast with “Randi the Rabbit”<br />

Children 7 & under are invited to attend breakfast with<br />

the bunny at Comm. Center. This event includes<br />

pancake breakfast, a visit & photo opportunity <strong>of</strong> your<br />

child with “Randi <strong>The</strong> Rabbit” all children must be<br />

accompanied by a paid adult. Bring your own camera!<br />

Lights Before Christmas<br />

During the holiday season, the Toledo<br />

Zoo is transformed into a winter<br />

wonderland. <strong>The</strong> Lights Before<br />

Christmas holiday event features over<br />

one million lights, over 200 images<br />

<strong>of</strong> some <strong>of</strong> your favorite animals,<br />

carolers, holiday treats, the Swanton<br />

Area Railroad model trains, and visits<br />

with Santa. Registration Deadline is<br />

Thursday, December 9 th at 5pm. Minimum<br />

<strong>of</strong> 20 needed to go.<br />

When: Monday<br />

Time: Bus leaves at 4pm<br />

and returns at 9pm to<br />

the Comm. Ctr.<br />

Halloween Spooktacular—Trunk or Treat<br />

An outdoor Halloween Spooktacular! Back by popular<br />

demand will include a lot <strong>of</strong> fun activities geared<br />

around Halloween. Co-sponsored by the Zeta Phi<br />

Beta Sorority, Inc. - Upsilon Psi Zeta - <strong>Oak</strong> <strong>Park</strong> ,<br />

MI Chapter, <strong>Oak</strong> <strong>Park</strong> Youth Asst. & <strong>Oak</strong> <strong>Park</strong><br />

most importantly, a memorable visit with Santa<br />

Claus. Each child will receive a keepsake from<br />

this memorable holiday event. Individual picture<br />

taking opportunities will be available (picture is<br />

not included). Pancake Breakfast will be provided.<br />
