• Bajaj Auto is a leading motorcycle and auto rickshaw manufacturer in India, which first<br />
unveiled a concept passenger <strong>car</strong> in 2008. Called Lite, it was an „ultra low cost” <strong>car</strong>, but<br />
eventually Bajaj dropped the idea<br />
• Though it is a four-wheeler, RE60 is not a passenger <strong>car</strong>, rather a more upscale auto rickshaw<br />
• Power comes from a 200 cc rear-mounted petrol engine. Company targets CO2 emission of<br />
just 60 g/km<br />
• Bajaj makes about half-a-million three-wheelers a year, most of which are exported. RE60<br />
may follow the same route
