special projectsThe public is invited to take part in creating a largescaleparticipatory drawing held for the duration ofthe Sunnyside Beach Juried <strong>Art</strong> Show.Collaborative DrawingUsing a variety of media, including pencils, graphite,charcoal, tape, acrylics and more, members of thepublic will be able to explore their creative sidesoutdoors in the sunshine under the impressivearchitecture of the Sunnyside Pavilion. Under thelimited guidance of an artist, members of thepublic will have the opportunity to express theirartistic energy through a multitude of collaborativeencounters with others.Together we will create an interdisciplinarycollaborative drawing that goes far beyond theboundaries of the physical canvas.Made possible with materials kindly donated byCurry’s <strong>Art</strong> Store.Agnieszka Foltynnuit blanche, 2012, 48” x 44”, ink, graphite, conté, acrylic, pencil crayon& pigment on paperUnder the guidance of:Agnieszka Foltyn holds a B.FA in studio arts and arthistory from Concordia University in Montreal, andlives in Toronto.As a dancer and a visual artist, her work is centeredon the potential for movement within drawing.Working primarily large scale, her interest lies inthe fusion of drawing-based interdisciplinary workand immersive, site-specific installations. She hasexhibited in Montreal, Toronto, and Winnipeg and herwork can be found in private collections across NorthAmerica and Europe.In her remaining time, she teaches visual art to youthand is part of the executive council of the OntarioSociety of <strong>Art</strong>ists.mishi.foltyn@gmail.com
