Fiscal Year 2004/2005 Budget EstimatesBudget Appendix Extract LanguageOTHER PROCUREMENT, NAVY (OPN)For procurement, production, and modernization of support equipment and materialsnot otherwise provided for, <strong>Navy</strong> ordnance (except ordnance for new aircraft, new ships,and ships authorized for conversion); the purchase of passenger motor vehicles forreplacement only, the purchase of both light armored vehicles not in excess of 12,000pounds gross vehicle weight and the purchase of 3 vehicles required for physical securityof personnel, notwithstanding price limitations applicable to passenger vehicles but not toexceed $240,000 per unit for one unit and not to exceed $125,000 per unit for theremaining two units; expansion of public and private plants, including the land necessarytherefor, and such lands and interests therein, may be acquired, and constructionprosecuted thereon prior to approval of title; and procurement and installation ofequipment, appliances, and machine tools in public and private plants; reserve plant andGovernment and contractor-owned equipment layaway, [$4,612,910,000]$4,679,443,000, to remain available for obligation until September 30, [2005] 2006, ofwhich $49,527,000 shall be for the <strong>Navy</strong> Reserve.
