Qualitative Impact“Through my participation I have…”• Initiated a sexual health program and trained 25 sexual health educators who now offer RH sessions in 6secondary schools• Written more articles about women's issues for magazines & new papers and now covering controversialtopics like homosexuality. I am giving voice to censored voices of women around the world.•Mobilized women in my community to start a maternity center• Founded a community based organization teaching women and girls how to use ICTs.• Appreciated myself more as a woman knowing that what I am going through as an individual is also areflection of what other countless women go through everyday.• Used women’s stories to strengthen my PhD dissertation in the area of gender affirmative action.• Gained confidence that I am the one can change the Afghan women's world.• Learned to be no longer ashamed of my thoughts and ideas
