The Country SchoolDonor Report2010-2011From the HeadmasterDespite the continuing weak economy and all the challenges it has posed,The Country School grew only stronger for its students during the 2010-11 school year. Parents continued to make their children’s elementary andmiddle school education one of their highest budget priorities. Our total enrollmentremained strong. Because of the generosity of our donors, the commitment ofour Parents’ Association, the dedication of our faculty, the sagacious oversight byour Board of Trustees, and prudent financial management, we have been able tocontinue to provide an undiminished program for our students that was, in fact, ourstrongest ever.The Cougar Fund raised about $365,000 this year, hallmarks of a Country School education. The Auction/bolstered by a very generous matching challenge Gala returned to campus and was another recordbreakingsuccess. The annual gift wrap, rummage, andprovided by Rob and Patti Miller and their daughterElizabeth M. Walters ’97.
