York Bridgemasters’ Accounts51YCA/C80:2[This roll is written on one side of one membrane, 31 cm wide by 50 cm long; a piece 8 cm by 5cm is missingfrom the top right-hand corner. From the names of the bridgemaster and the mayor given in the heading thisroll could relate to either 1407 or 1408, but the next roll is for 1408, so that this roll begins on 2nd February1407. The dates of the two bridgemasters and the mayor were taken from the Freemen’s Register.
