J. Martin, manager of the Agricultural Co-op(now Signet Signs) who for many years played the Last post atthe Service. The Legion continues to tend the Memorial with loving care, andhave won the North Mendip Cup for their efforts on numerousoccasions. Their efforts of course serve to underline Binyon's linesthat "at the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we willremember them".This is the first article in a series covering War Memorials inBackwell, Nailsea, Tickenham and Wraxall.
