ENVISIONWaterFurnace Envision 7-25 ton units are an exceptional choice for large zones in commercial and institutional applications.These units are available in both an NL group for water source heat pump applications, and an NX group for extendedrange geothermal applications. Available in 3 horizontal sizes and 7 vertical sizes, Envision units provide the user with highefficiency, excellent performance, flexibility and reliability. Envision 7-25 ton units utilize R-410A refrigerant. A standardFX10 control is included for flexible integration into facilities with building automation systems. Vertical units can be orderedin left or right-hand return air, top or side discharge. Horizontal units are available with left or right-hand return, side orend discharge. Heavy gauge metal cabinets add durability to the system. Vertical units are painted with a long lastingwhite powder coat finish. Horizontal units are unpainted. Multiple access panels for ease of service.SCROLL COMPRESSORS: Includes two high efficiencyCopeland Scroll compressors designed for heat pumpoperation. Dual level vibration system and internaloverload protection.COAXIAL HEAT EXCHANGERS: Dual oversizedconvoluted heat exchangers with copper inner tube(optional cupronickel) and steel outer tube for maximumheat transfer at normal and low water flow rates tominimize pressure drop and enhance freeze protection.ALUMINUM AIR COIL: An aluminum air coil is featuredin Envision 7-25 ton units to provide exceptional durabilityand high efficiencies. Added protection is also availablewith an optional AlumiSeal coating.REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT: Envision units utilizeR-410A refrigerant in two sealed circuits. Metering isaccomplished with a bi-flow thermostatic expansion valvefor optimum refrigerant flow without troublesome checkvalves. Four-way solenoid activated reversing valve faultsto heating and is “cool brazed” at the factory.CONTROLS: Johnson Controls FX10 board providesoperational control and monitoring of all functions.Includes input ports for communication protocolsincluding Open N2, LonWorks and BACnet. Optional userinterface, if selected, is factory-mounted on front of unit.The FX10 control monitors high pressure, low pressure,condensate overflow, freeze protection and more.FILTER RACK: Units include a factory-installed 2˝ widefilter bracket. Filter removal can be done from either side.Optional MERV11 filters available.BLOWER MOTOR: Fan is belt driven, double width,double inlet forward curved with dynamically balancedwheel. Motors are permanently lubricated with thermaloverload protection. Drive includes fixed pitch blowersheave and variable pitch motor sheave sized for 115%of fan brake horsepower.PIPING: Supply and return water connections arecopper 1 1⁄4˝ or 2˝ NPT fittings. All internal pipingincluding coaxial heat exchanger is insulated to preventcondensation. Low temperature soldered to preventmisshaping or weakening.ADDITIONAL FEATURES: All units are computer-runtested. Horizontal units include base rails and hangerbrackets with rubber isolation grommets. Drain panconstructed of corrosion and mold resistant plastic,sloped in four directions to facilitate condensate removal.
