Halloween/Fall Special Events26 th Annual Halloween Creative Writing ContestAspiring Middle School and High School writers needed! Do you have what it takesto out scare your friends? The <strong>Cuyahoga</strong> <strong>Falls</strong> Parks and Recreation Departmentis sponsoring this annual Halloween writing contest. Original spooky poems orshort stories of 350 words or less can be submitted to any English teacher betweenSeptember 16 th and October 7 th . All entries must be typed and double-spaced andinclude a cover page with title, author’s name, school, grade, and English teacher’sname. Trophies will be awarded October 31 st for those who dare to scare!Community Halloween Party at <strong>Falls</strong> River SquareJoin your friends and neighbors at the <strong>Cuyahoga</strong> <strong>Falls</strong> Halloween Spooktacularon Saturday, October 26 th from 2-4 pm at <strong>Falls</strong> River Square. Admission to thisevent and participation in the Don Sitts Auto “Trunk or Treat” are FREE! Bring apre-carved pumpkin for entry in one of the following carving contest categories:Largest, Smallest, Best Decorated, Scariest, or Most Original. A Costume Contestwill also be held with categories that include: up to 18 months, 19 months-3 years,4-5 years, 6-8 years, and 9-10 years. Please be seated in the amphitheater by 2:15pm to participate in the costume contest. A $5 activity stamp may be purchasedfor unlimited access to hayrides, petting zoo, and other attractions.
