Dampers in 2-stroke applications, where the<br />
<strong>Vdamp</strong> protects the propeller or camshaft<br />
from damage by torsional vibrations. In such<br />
applications the damper is a crucial safety<br />
element and has to be classified, contrary to 4-stroke engines, where this is in general not the<br />
