<strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Burlington</strong>Daniel Wartschow, 21 Heart Ridge, commented that the pad could be used for Life Star landings.200 Spielman Highway • <strong>Burlington</strong>, CT 06013-1735 • 860-673-6789BOS, 9/<strong>27</strong>/<strong>11</strong>, Pg. 3 <strong>of</strong> 5David Pasqualicchio, Plank Hill Road, Bristol and owner <strong>of</strong> Nuchie’s Restaurant in Forestville, spoke on PaulBlanchette’s behalf and noted that he is a good neighbor and the helicopter is very quiet.Stanley Fuller, 15 West Woods Road, commented that he has flown with Paul and he is all about safety.Dr. Mursch, 40 Donna Drive, commented that she is concerned with fires. Why not keep the helicopter at an airport?Pierre Muri, 3 Ventres Way, concerned about the noise.Eric Przystawski, 66 Daniel Trace, commented that he is a former neighbor <strong>of</strong> Paul’s and there was never a problem withthe helicopter and it is not excessively noisy.Dianna Demers, 10 Taine Mountain, explained that she moved from Granby near an airport to a quiet neighborhood. Shenoted that she did lose money in the value <strong>of</strong> her home in Granby due to noise from Bradley Airport.Robert Senk, 16 Highwood Crossing, commented that this seemed to be a zoning issue.Jeffrey Sonenstein, 14 Ryans Way and former member <strong>of</strong> the Bristol Chamber <strong>of</strong> Commerce, commented that Paulproved that the helicopter is not a detriment to the area and residents should just listen to him and give him a chance.James Keevers, 20 Saverese Lane, commented that he did live near the helicopter pad Paul has in Bristol/Forestville and itwas not excessively noisy.Paul Blanchette explained that he moved in to his home August 1 st and the email was put in mailboxes August 14 th ; he didnot have a chance to ask neighbors to meet with him so he can explain and show the helicopter which he planned to do.Mark Orzechowski, 298 George Washington Turnpike, commented on the aircraft accident on Johnnycake Airport yearsago.Doris Lynch, Punch Brook, asked how many acres is Mr. Blanchette’s property. (4 acres)The Board noted that they will get more information regarding the helicopter use and what other <strong>Town</strong>s have in placeregarding regulations and/or ordinances.Michele Perrault asked about a time line. The Board agreed this item would be on the agenda for the next one or twomeetings and that if an ordinance is deemed appropriate, it would be the charge <strong>of</strong> the P&Z Commission and voted on bythe <strong>Town</strong>.Selectman Powell asked if the number and length <strong>of</strong> cul-de-sacs could be addressed at a future BOS meeting.
