There were several caseswhere sight was restored, as with theelderly woman who came to be saved,and received her sight while praying forsalvation. Her husband was with her andtestified that for six years he had led lmrby the hand!It would be impossible here to relateall that occurred in this great campaign,and the value of it is known only to God,but we who have worked and prayedardently these years for a visitation fromGod in Philadelphia, rejoice over whatwe have seen.EYES HEALED THROUGH PRAYER .WHEN I WAS SIX years old. in thefirst grade in school, I had to beginwearing thick lense glasses. I wore themconstantly for 17 years, and could not dowithout them at all, as things were soblurred I could not distinguish one thingfrom another without my glasses.As I paint and tint pictures, and playmusic, this was very inconvenient and sooften I would wish I did not have to wcarglasses. Mine were heavy magnifyinglenses which made me so Self-conscious.I have kept them to prove what God didfor me.On April 18, 1953 the Lord placed abone in my head where before had beena soft spot from birth. (See testimonyand picture on page 13 of November1953 TVH).That miracle gave me faith to believeGod could heal my eyes and I askedBrother Erickson to pray for the healingof my eyes. Brother Erickson askedme to remove my glasses. as he prayed.He instantly said, “I feel the same aswhen I prayed for you before. Your eyesare healed.” I returned to my seat praisingthe Lord, for I had felt the “fire” ofthe Lord penetrate my eyes. The nextmorning I found that my eyes were healedand I have.not had to wear my glassessince. for which I praise God.- Betty L. WilliamsonPort Arthur, Texas INERVOUS CONDITIONDISCERNED, VANISHES!I WANT TO thank the Lord for my wonderfulhealing during the recent Erick- f?son campaign at Harrishurg, Pennsvlvania.I was struggling to recover from nmajor operation, which seemed to affcct -my whole nervous system.As I tried to bclieve God, I was tormentedwith the ihought that “It was notGod’s will to hcal mc.” One night as-Ientered the tent of Evangelist Erickson, ,I heard them singing “Only Believe!” Ithad never meant so much to me before. ,I then heard Brother Erickson tell aboutthe United Brethren brother who challengedthe Lord. I said, “Lord, if you willreveal through Brother Erickson thatsomeone in the audience has an internalcondition causing much pain, I will knowit is your will to heal me.” As he prayedfor the sick, he turned to the audience andsaid those words. I entered the prayerline and God has healed me. All the painand soreness in my abdomen is gone! Myhusband and I also received such a wonderfulspiritual blessing.
