Bill has beenteaching at Caltech since 1970. Along with his wife, Delores (who is the Chamber Music Director),Bill has won the ASCIT Teaching Award, and is an honorary member of the CaltechAlumni Association. Bill’s trumpet students have performed with Poncho Sanchez, Tito Puente,Green Day, and many other fine classical, jazz, and rock ensembles.Alma de Mexico, considered one of the best mariachis in the San Fernando Valley and LosAngeles, is known for its wide repertoire and outstanding musical performances.
