Its modern shape makesthe keypad to fit in every home where design is a must. One of theunique features of the NX-1048-R-W is that it provides system andzone status information at all times without going in stand-by mode.The keypad is powered using six standard AA batteries, four for theoperation of the keypad and two for the lighting. The two batteriesfor the lighting are sitting in a separate battery compartmentaccessible to the end-user in case the batteries need to be replaced.To increase battery life time, only the keypad lighting and LCD displayis switched off after a 30 seconds delay. The keypad has 2 x 16character LCD display and an icon display to indicate the systemcondition in an attractive and clear way. Four arrow keys allow theuser to navigate through a quick or advanced user menu and eightadditional function keys makes operating the control panel veryuser-friendly. The NX-1048-R-W allows location driven programmingand programming via menu structure. During installation up to 4 outof 12 languages can be assigned to the keypad. The advanced lightguide structure lights the LCD and keys for day and night use. Even inplaces where lighting is poor the display has an excellentperformance.The keypad comes with a wall bracket including a level glass. In casethe wireless keypad is not used it can be clicked in its bracket and canbe taken out whenever needed.
