ON May 10, 786065-S Cpl G Vidyasagar, AFSO was detailed for runway controllerduties. During the period of his duty a Kiran MK II ac lined up for departure. Heobserved heavy fuel leakage from the fuselage of the aircraft at the line up point. Heimmediately transmitted the same on R/T to the pilot and the DATCO. While inspecting an aircraft before take off, he observeda minor hydraulic oil leak from the port unloading chamber panel. He signalledthe pilot to increase the RPM for confirming the hydraulic leak. After confirmingthe leak and its severity, he indicated the pilot to switch off the ac. Subsequentinvestigations revealed hydraulic leak from the Booster System Teflon Pressurehose.
