STARSaligns with PASS Standards and will alignwith Common Core State Standards.STARS raises students’ awareness abouthow to manage and protect their money.Students learn the benefits of making wisechoices, and they experience the effectsof compound interest and time value ofmoney as they research, create and trackvirtual online stock portfolios.STARS is a process that offers studentstools to enhance life skills and thepossibility of obtaining financialindependence in their futures.Eight one-day workshops train teachersto facilitate STARS in their existingcourses.
