1. Explain why the slope of the velocity curve is the same when the cart is moving up <strong>and</strong><br />

down. Is there any special feature in your velocity graph at the time when the cart is<br />

you measured for the sonic ranger using the ruler.<br />

3. You plotted velocity versus time <strong>and</strong> found a straight line. Suppose you plotted<br />

velocity versus distance, what would the curve look like. Make a sketch or plot it out.<br />
