Two very dramatic Duesenbergs, each with
documented and interesting provenance, will
highlight the Vintage Motor Cars at Meadow
Brook Hall auction. In addition, a stunning pair
of LaSalle’s and one of the most original Cadillac
Dual Cowl Phaetons will be offered in addition
to another 80 outstanding motor cars some of
which can be seen previewed within this issue
of the RM Magazine.
RM is predicting the largest sale ever for the
2005 Monterey Sports and Classic Car
Auction. At press time, car specialists had
consigned nearly $25 million in desirable
automobiles, with over $30 million in exceptional
cars and rare memorabilia expected. The offerings for the 2005
premier sports car auction of the year include one of only 19 1960
Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato’s built and the 1965 24 Hours of
Daytona winner 1964 Ford GT 40 Prototype. These are truly
some of the world’s finest motor cars.
