Solomon said, "Train up achild in the way he should go, and when he is old he will notdepart from it." (Prov. 22:6.) Parents are exhorted not toprovoke their children to anger, but to rebuke and punish whennecessary, and to train them up in the nurture and admonition ofthe Lord, etc. And then we have the example of our heavenlyFather set forth for our study and imitation.R1097 : page 6
