Alfredson Daniel<br />
Born in 1959 in Stockholm. Has worked in<br />
various capacities on television and film productions.<br />
Tic Tac, his first full-length feature<br />
film, won two “Golden Beetles”, national<br />
awards in 1997.<br />
Andersson Roy<br />
Born in 1943. Former teacher. Attended film<br />
school in Stockholm 1967-69. Has made three<br />
full-length features: the acclaimed A Love<br />
Story (1970), Giliap (1975) and the awardwinning<br />
Songs from the Second Floor (2000),<br />
which received several “Golden Beetles”<br />
national awards as well as the prestigious Prix<br />
Spécial du Jury at the Cannes Festival in 2000.<br />
His film production also includes hundreds of<br />
commercials, several of which have received<br />
international awards.<br />
Bergman Ingmar<br />
Born in 1918 in Sweden and residing on the<br />
island of Fårö. One of Sweden’s most internationally<br />
acclaimed filmmakers and theatre<br />
directors. Has often worked with the same<br />
actors and technicians, which has resulted in<br />
many well-known names on the international<br />
scene, including the actresses Liv Ullmann,<br />
Bibi Andersson and Ingrid Thulin and the cinematographer<br />
Sven Nykvist. His huge film production<br />
includes Persona, The Silence, Fanny<br />
and Alexander and the autobiographical<br />
Cannes award-winner, The Best Intentions.<br />
Bergman Jan<br />
Born in 1956 in Stockholm. Historian and film<br />
aficionado. Has made more than 400 films<br />
and television programs. Best known for his<br />
historical television documentaries.<br />
Bergqvist Stig<br />
Born in 1962 in Stockholm. Director of animated<br />
films. Established the studio <strong>Film</strong>tecknarna<br />
in 1982, together with Jonas Odell, Lars<br />
Ohlsson and Martti Ekstrand. Has also worked<br />
with animated films in the USA and on the<br />
television series Stressed Eric for the BBC.<br />
Björk Christina<br />
Born in 1938 in Stockholm. Graduate of the<br />
Graphic <strong>Institute</strong> at Stockholm University.<br />
Author of children’s books, including those<br />
about Linnea, which she made in collaboration<br />
with Lena Andersson, and which were filmed<br />
as well. With Maria Brännström she made<br />
the film People and Teddies (1989), which was<br />
followed by the shorter version Teddy Bears<br />
Wait.<br />
Bonniér Hansen Marika<br />
Born in 1956 in Stockholm. <strong>Film</strong>maker. Mime<br />
training at the College of Dance and Scenic<br />
Arts (Danshögskolan) and studies at the Idun<br />
Lovéns School of Art.<br />
Bringas Sylvie<br />
Born in 1965 in France. Has been involved in<br />
various multimedia productions since 1986.<br />
Teaches animation in London.<br />
Brännström Maria<br />
Born in 1952 in Umeå, Sweden. Graduate of<br />
the College of <strong>Film</strong>, Television, Radio and<br />
Theatre (Dramatiska <strong>Institute</strong>t). Photographer.<br />
Carlbrand Håkan<br />
Born in 1955 in Göteborg. Graduate of the<br />
School of Photography and <strong>Film</strong> at Göteborg<br />
University.<br />
Carleson Per<br />
Born in 1947 in Stockholm. Attended the<br />
Christer Strömholm School of Photography.<br />
Director, producer, editor, sound engineer and<br />
teacher.<br />
Carlsson Magnus<br />
Born in 1965 in Göteborg. Studied art in New<br />
York before taking up animation in 1988. Has<br />
made a number of highly acclaimed animated<br />
short films and TV-series. Annika & Stefan is<br />
his first short fiction.
