Fundamental to thediscussion will be the question “whatdoes quality mean for state MCHprograms?” Panelists will share theirviews on national efforts to promotequality in public health, includingefforts to accredit state, tribal <strong>and</strong>local public health agencies. Over the past severalyears collective impact has become a majorframework for creating change at thecommunity level, especially in education <strong>and</strong>economic development, <strong>and</strong> now health.This interactive mini-plenary will provideMCH leaders with the opportunity to learnabout the five core elements <strong>of</strong> collectiveimpact (common agenda, mutuallyreinforcing activities, shared measurementssystem, continuous communications <strong>and</strong>backbone organization) <strong>and</strong> apply these totheir work at the local, state, <strong>and</strong> nationallevels.
