Mark was an insurance agent for 25 years before becomingpursuing additional education that led him into church ministry. In the course of histraining, he earned MA and PhD degrees from Western Michigan University in Early ChurchHistory, along with completing a prescribed course of studies required for ordination in theReformed Church. He served as Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Gun Lake CommunityChurch (RCA) from 2005-2012. Mark currently provides pulpit supply to area churches,trains leaders in the RCA’s Commissioned Pastor program, and works for his oldest son inthe insurance business. He enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, and other outdoor activities, aswell as travelling with his family.Back Pack Buddies: We are currently collecting for the April weekends.
