A letter was read from the Secretary of theUnited Missionary Council of Syria, Northern Section, asking theCyprus Mission to send a fraternal delegate to their conference proposedto be held at Beyrout next April (17-19). The followingstatement was drawn up and discussed: "Our attitude toward theOrthodox Church people, and those of other protestant churches."After a lengthy discussion the question remained for further discussion.Moved and seconded that Argos Zodhiades be grantedleave of absence from April 13, 1940 to May 2, 1940, for proceedingto Egypt.
